Gene's Nursery Has closed

Gene's Nursery closed on March 26, 2022.  We have appreciated the support from our customers that we have received over the years!

For those of you who do not know, Gene's Nursery Closed the doors on Saturday, March 26, 2022 after 65 years of proudly serving Savannah customers. Although Ben and I were not related to Francis Eugene Phillips, the founder of Gene's Nursery, we always felt the connection of a family-owned business. For 30 years, the three of us, Gene, Ben & I have worked together to build a business that we were proud of and we knew that Francis would be as well.

We are all excited about our next adventures. Ben and I, along with our daughter Lindsey have opened Blackcreek Nursery & Garden in Bulloch County GA. We also operate Camelliashop for mail order plants.

You'll find Gene Phillips happily growing beautiful plants in Sylvania GA at his nursery Hobbes Hill Farm and should be opening for Retail there in the Fall os 2022.

Even though we are taking different paths, we will always carry the friendship, experiences, and memories we made at Gene's Nursery with us as we move forward! We cherish the friends we have made over the last 30 years and we hope that you'll come to visit us!
